5th January 2012
For immediate release.

Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus will be welcoming new members this January. Whether you are a confident singer or a total novice we want you to feel at home. We are a group of mixed ability singers, and there is no requirement to read music or obtain grades. The first few rehearsals are free, if you decide to join there is a monthly subscription charge.

Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus is a registered charity (no. 1137437) with three core principles – our “Three S’s”: Singing, Socialising and Support. We have around 50 members and work to produce three main shows every year as well as other smaller events. For our 2011 Christmas show, entitled “Pull A Cracker with Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus”, we performed to a sell out audience of 1,600 people at the Brighton Dome alongside June Brown (Dot Branning from Eastenders) and local comedienne Zoe Lyons – raising over £5,000 for the Sussex Beacon in the process.

Come and experience the joy of singing with us at our open rehearsal at 7.30pm, Tuesday 10th January at the Unitarian Church, New Road, Brighton. For more info please check out our website www.brightongmc.org or email membership@brightongmc.org
